We’re incredibly excited about strengthening involvement in social media, and we look forward to making it a meaningful part of the conference in Vancouver. We are delighted to introduce members of the Social Media Squad, a team of conference attendees who will participate in social media activities in real-time at the CFC 2011 Conference in Vancouver this May.
Here we learn from colleagues from The Winnipeg Foundation about the foundation’s current work in social media.
Representing The Winnipeg Foundation in the Social Media Squad at the CFC 2011 Conference is LuAnn Lovlin, Kerry Ryan and Jenette Martens. At The Winnipeg Foundation, we incorporated social media into our communications strategy about a year ago. One thing we’ve been mindful of since the beginning, is that people who meet us through social media will see the same organization that Winnipeggers have trusted for 90 years. We aim to tell the same story that we tell through our other communication means, and also do it in a way that works with social media.
We’re excited to swap ideas and updates at the Conference with others using social media communication tools to tell their community foundation’s stories.
We want to hear from you!
What tools is your community foundation using, and what success have you had?
